If you are looking to buy a New TV, and you want a simple explanation of what some terms are, then look no further!
So a little while back we did a video on TV resolution and posted it on You tube. Without bragging, its probably one of my best. Why, well its because its one of the most relevant.
This Video goes into what all the hype is about 4K and how it compares with 1080P.
I wont explain to much here, check out the Video.
It seems like only yesterday that we were talking about HD. Back then this was also called 720p, yep, you guessed it, yet another TV resolution. I guess we can pose the question, "Will it ever stop"? Well, the answer to that is, not likely. As long as TV is here, the picture quality will improve. Even if we don't see higher resolution, we will see the picture quality in that resolution get better, just through more advancements in video camera lens's.
Its worth noting though, that there is not a lot of content being filmed in 4K yet, but I would assume that this is only a matter of time. If i was purchasing a TV right now, and it was my main TV, and of course, my budget permitted, I think I would buy a 4K TV, but, if it was a secondary TV, like a bedroom or the likes, I would be looking for 1080p.
Thats just my 2 bobs worth anyway, until someone convinces me otherwise.
Until next time.
